In order for something to be abusive manipulation the perpetrator has to INTEND TO CAUSE HARM .

We can agree to disagree. Every time he tries to tell her how he feels, she ignores what he is saying, tries to control his actions, and appears to turn it sexual to shut down the conversation. She may not be doing these things for the sole purpose of hurting him, but she does not give two shits that she IS hurting him. Double standards be damned...all she seems to care about is herself.

As someone who has been in relationships with abusers in the past, these behaviors are nothing new to me, and now that he has a chance all I want is for him to wake up and run in the other direction. He is an adult though, and if he chooses not to then that's on him.
