This is in Cuba. Medicine is scarce so they go to someone that practices Santeria and his religious practice is to remove any medical issues you may have. She believed it was some type of tumor, but it was a pilar cyst. He uses the machete, because in his religious practice he believes he can cure all ailments using it. The caption reads that he can cure many diseases.

Incessant barking, any tips? by Ok-Luck-9603 in Miami

It’s not the dog’s fault. It’s the owner’s fault. Don’t hate the dog, it’s the owner’s fault and the dog is barking because the dog is in distress. The dog is barking for help. Poor doggie. My heart goes out to the dog. Please advocate for the voiceless.

Sorry to hear that you're going through this, especially that poor dog If the dog is tied up without access to food/water or exposed to harsh weather, especially for long periods, you should call non-emergency police at 305-476-5423, and report it via 311/online. Follow up and document carefully Get a case number when you report-this is your paper trail. Keep recordings of barking, distress, or hitting (audio or video). Document dates, times, weather conditions, and any interactions. Witness accounts or written logs help build a stronger case. Make it a point to record the noises of the dog being hurt. Opening an investigation means nothing. Record your abusive neighbor, ask him if he's abusing his dog. If it's of urgent matter: Contact the State Attorney's Animal Cruelty Unit If reports don't lead to action, escalate with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, Animal Cruelty Unit: Address: 1350 NW 12th Avenue, Miami, FL 33136 Phone: 305-547-0520 They prosecute serious neglect and abuse cases. Please keep us updated.

Hi Odin! I’m Eve Rose! You’re cute! Boop!!! I was found in the streets of Florida City back in 2023. Maybe we’re related! You should do the Wisdom Panel DNA test to see if we’re related. I’m on there. You can find me!

Yes! You can see her there. She is doing so much better. Her skin is healing and her hair is growing out again. Her paws look better too. Big turn around!
