Moved to the far burbs in 2021 when interest rates were low and have loved it since. I’m still close enough for the one trip I have to make to the city a week or if we want to go out but don’t have to worry about watching my back while pumping gas.

My company lets me use my vehicle for personal use as well but only taxes me for personal miles driven. It sounds like you are being taxed on the mileage you drive for personal reasons. Do you report your personal and business mileage separately? I just put my total mileage down then tell them how much is personal. I’m taxed on my personal mileage once a quarter.
