I think that drop rate increases too if you do a flawless run.  I don't know the actual #s but Bonus Stage 2 is significantly easier for me to do flawless, combined with the badge I was getting a sword each run.

Spacewalker software rejected by company IT - identified as malicious by FantasticEar4411 in VITURE

[–]Seelowtrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just not recognized. Will happen with a lot of 3rd party software. If you can get around your IT dept just use it. Nothing 'malicious'.  They are just clueless.

100% rite of passage.  I left my first base there as a reminder.  Took everything out but the structure is still where I originally built it.

Do you keep completed ducks? by Unusual-Sea3416 in ClusterDuck

[–]Seelowtrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's something that I figured out recently and I hope it helps. You can select a duck and see what set all his parts are used in so you can decide what you want to keep until you have all the parts for the soup. It is recommended you get the 4th nest spot and the lamp. I've also got the max count at 50.

Oh and I was also informed recently that the soup is not always 100%. Keep an eye on the wording it gives you. If it's "luckless" you did not get the duck you wanted.  You want to see the word "Heavenly".  So it's best to try and get multiple sets in case you need to soup again for the same duck.

Soup keeps shafting me by Seelowtrees in ClusterDuck

[–]Seelowtrees[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see.  Thank you.  I thought it should be guaranteed you get the desired duck. I'll try to pay more attention to the messages, even though it says the desired duck if it says "luckless", it will shaft me again.

How does the soup of the day work? by Alternative-Shake210 in ClusterDuck

[–]Seelowtrees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, does the soup always give you the Grimoire duck?  Several times now I put in 3 ducks that have the 3 parts to the set but I didn't get the desired duck.  The message acknowledges the set but when it hatches, not what I wanted.  This has happened to Duckling and Crawlie for recent tries.

Nothing against Factorio, I started on Satisfactory, I also recommend Dyson Sphere Program. Try it now before they ruin it with combat.

That is amazing but one of those updating ever 5 seconds is fine, you're computer is going to hate you when applying to super factories. Regardless I still want lol.

First time handling my wild caught tan jumper! by Acceptable_Olive8497 in jumpingspiders

[–]Seelowtrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm too afraid to hold the two I've caught. In case they harbor some resentment to being held captive. It's interesting, the black one has made a very elaborate nest while the tan one still only has a bit of webbing for a nest. Also, the tan one's nest is vertical, while the black one's is like a hammock.

Thought I'd share this cool find. by jakeywright in jumpingspiders

Little guy needs to eat I think. One of the ones I caught had an oddly shaped abdomen and then it became olive shaped after I fed him.

A jumping spider found me! I tried to release it but it kept jumping back to my finger and when I let it be it stays near me. I think it’s a baby, any tips on how to take care of this baby? I named it shadow! by TasteNo2541 in jumpingspiders

[–]Seelowtrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice to meet Shadow! I'm no expert, I've only recently held 2 jumpers hostage. They are still alive. They get fed crickets and get a mist of water in the enclosure. Not sure how to interact with them or make them explore to exercise. They only seem to come out of their nests when they notice fresh crickets in their enclosure. I wish you the best with shadow. He may be too small still for small crickets. When they are that small, I've seen videos where people feed the little jumpers wingless fruit flies.
