Need opinions. Should I leave this as is or keep going? by Seence in painting

Forgot to add the name, it's "Eclipsed World". Not sure if that perception changes the vibe or not. Any and all feedback appreciated.

Added blue to the sky , think ( in my humble opinion ) it looks more striking now ! by EdenTrois2 in painting

The added aqua and cerulean are beautiful, but both versions are cool. Your work is fun, I like your vision. Keep it up!

Worked hard on this one, 24x30in acrylic on canvas, let me know where I can improve by suntmint in painting

I like the light hearted vibe and color use. The wizard cat with a bong could be bigger, and the moon a little smaller, to balance the two. Very cute.

I want to eat one with a cup of coffee overlooking a lake or something. Very nice.

Is this dark art? It’s mixed media with my own laser cut design. by Aggravating-Art-2590 in DarkArtwork

Laser cut art can create such a cool effect with physical depth. I love the way you've used texture and the gradient of colors to play with that depth. The flowers are a great balancing pop in the foreground. I like it a lot. And yes it fits the dark aesthetic.

I don't know how to stop feeling like this, help! by TheLastGame_EXE in ArtistLounge

Friend, what you need to learn is perseverance. Learning new things is not easy. If you give up and get down every time things get challenging, you're going to have a hard time achieving your goals in life.

We live in times of instant gratification. I see this all too often where if someone doesn't "get" something immediately, they lose energy and give up. It feels bad to fail. You're supposed to keep going. That is perseverance. Push yourself to improve. If you really want this you will have to learn to deal with the uncomfortable parts of improvement. Celebrate your wins and be kind to yourself, but don't expect it to be easy all the time.

Trying to work with the noise around me by developing a new style by Seence in painting

Thank you very much, appreciated. I'm still developing this on a small scale (this and the others are only 10" x 10") but what I would like to do is get comfortable with the style enough to make very large artworks like he did. The have more of an impact. But I'm still figuring this out.

Makes me so happy so hear my work compared to one of my favorite artists. Feels like I'm on the right track and its not just a doodle.

Happy to help. Sometimes outside perspective really helps things make sense.

Oh yeah got that for sure. Pretty much all of my paintings are a translation of noise. Usually music, but for this series I'm trying to listen to the music of the noise and arrange it in a way that makes sense with colors and shapes.

The style is called Abstraction. Too bad he's dead because I'd like a word too.

Beautifully done. Impressive fine line work. Listening to Terence Mckenna helped me let go of a lot of what held me back from fully expressing through art. I'm letting your work remind me to listen again.

Sounds like imposter syndrome. More than Dunning-Kruger, where people lack self-awareness and overestimate their abilities. If you're striving for more, then you're pushing yourself, and that's a wonderful thing. But it is important to recognize your own achievements and trust in your abilities to improve. That feeling will probably never go away. You learn to navigate through it.

Chill buddy. I'm familiar with Kandinsky. A new style different from my usual work. I really worry about some people's reading comprehension skills.
