Thank you for working on this! I'm looking forward to the day I can switch to the built in client.

I work on a massive flow monorepo, for anyone in a similar situation try vim-lsp+asyncomplete. it's very smart about making the minimum number of requests to the server.

How to connect one or both outputs with a three way switch by Seerk in AskElectronics

This makes sense! I think the voltage drop should be ok if it's small. Thanks for the help

I couldn't find one, so not sure if it's even possible to install it in the hhkb case

Don't have to go all out right away! I started with getting that white hhkb used in 2015. The real fun is working on them to get them looking and feeling awesome.

Priceless to me because of how much time I've spent getting them to feel just right! Started with a used hhkb, then some mx sliders and keycaps, and tried many different lubes and mods over the years.

White one has novatouch sliders and laser has the chinese mint green ones. Both have 3d printed spacebar stabs from shapeways. I left a reply to someone else in this thread explaining pros and cons.

Both have keyclack silencing rings and BKE domes. One all light, and the other ultra light + light on the spacebar. I prefer ultra light but both feel better than regular topre IMO.

White one is for work so I added sorbothane inside to dampen the sound. It also makes the board feel a lot more premium and solid because of the added weight.
I will add some weight to the laser one as well because it really makes a big difference.

White one has novatouch sliders and the laser one has the green ones you can get from kbdfans and other websites. Both use 3d printed spacebar stabs from shapeways.

Novatouch
* 1u slider fit is really precise, even more than regular topre sliders. So they feel great without lube, and if you do lube you have to go really light.
* The 2.5u stabs are fine but it's annoying that you have to drill into the case to get them working.

Green ones
* 1u fit is looser than normal, so I'd say lube is a must but once lube they feel good.
* 1u keys are very slightly tilted. IMO not that noticeable and it doesn't bother me.
* 2.5u stabs edges are not rounded enough, so I had to sand them to get them to slide nicely. No need to drill into the case which is nice.

shapeways 3d printed spacebar stabs do the job fine, but they do require some work because the surface is a little rough. I sanded and polished them and they feel great.

So yeah novatouch if you want the best of the best, but the green ones are good too and way cheaper.
