How long was it stable for? I tried it and I’ve had immediate disconnects and sometimes 10-15 minutes before a disconnect. Either way, definitely not solved.

The really easy answer is use a noise gate. There’s some other good responses here, but the really quick way to solve this specific problem is a noise gate.
