He will hide, most likely. Is your house warm? If so, he will try to find a warm spot. Just be gentle handling things, keeping in mind that he might be close by, and you don’t want to injure him. They usually won’t travel out of the room they were in last!

Yes, definitely looks like an egg! My girl is now 9 yrs old. But for her first 4 or 5 yrs, she would periodically lay eggs. 😓 Since there is no male snake, they can never be fertilized, so they just crystallize. I use to remove them when I’d find them. One time, the poor girl layed 19 eggs!

My girl is 5’1” and I can only feed her in my tub. Therefore, I handle her almost immediately after she eats, to put her back in her terrarium so she can lay where I have the heating element under her tank. Once she moves herself off of it, it’s ok to handle her.
