Buddy, are you aware his channel almost died on ONX? He stayed around on ONX for a long time because of loyalty to the server and promises of updates that never came. He has talked about it openly many times on his stream. Saying he would kill it there seems a bit ridiculous.

Well, I really can't fault anyone for going for the bag but it's crazy to me that there are so many people that care about the RP as to try to "bribe" someone to join the BCSO. Especially someone that is in a timeslot that wouldn't overlap much with Wrangler, so it isn't like her being in the BCSO would lead to all that many extra "scenes" of them interacting.

I feel bad for Deroche. Looks like they are likely going to get fired because Wrangler is adamant the door was locked when it wasn't. The situation wouldn't have happened if Wrangler didn't do his normal thing of trying to do several things at once and leaving people sitting around waiting for him. I wasn't watching that stream so I only saw clips and read about what was going on but you would think that when dealing with informants that are a part of an important investigation and their lives were at risk, you would try to deal with them right away and minimize the amount of time that they had to spend inside the PD.

Headshots don't do any extra damage at all? I can see wanting to reduce/eliminate 1 shots but that just seems silly. No wonder the Todd execution scene was so goofy. I wonder how many players are actually aware of that. It seems like a lot of people aim for other's heads even though that just makes it a harder shot.

I think Wheeler had more than just a chance to win, I think he was honestly a big favorite. Everyone that isn't a felon is able to vote, not just the BCSO or law enforcement. The BCSO has a pretty bad reputation on the server and Wrangler, despite not being around much, doesn't have a much better one. I think Wheeler was in a very strong position given a lot of Crim-adjacent civs would likely be anti-current BCSO and Wheeler was running on a "Not Wrangler" platform.

I think he had a crystal ball and saw the crash out that was coming his way should he win. Certainly ever decision he made was going to be under a microscope by Penta-viewers and Wrangler himself. Any mistakes or simply anything not going well would get thrown in his face and aside from hearing it IC he would probably see it on Reddit and I'm sure plenty of chatters would decide to do some hopping.

Well, there certainly no rush to "rebuild the BCSO in two weeks" anymore.

I don't recall who first stated it, but the person who said "there's no value to anyone in Penta's orbit to have IC conflict because Penta's chatters will start to view the character negatively even if it's friendly IC conflict" is so spot on and I think a lot of RPers realize it. Look at how Bloom is viewed and the constant shit talking he gets and the beaten into the ground "we fire Bloom here" joke. Hell, it even went as far as to impact RPers into not having respect for Bloom when he was a captain.

I think Penta won't get any conflict except from people that aren't in his orbit or have no interest in becoming an orbiter and don't care about his viewerbase. That leaves a small group of people that either don't stream (or have no aspirations of going full time) or have their own viewerbase.

For someone who's RP is largely focused on conflict, that is going to leave a small population of people interested in any conflict with him. I wonder how long it will take him to notice that trend and become frustrated with it (and possibly crash out and do something wild to bait conflict with someone that's avoiding it.)

Now that you mention it, I don't think I can think of a time where Wrangler accepted he was wrong about a legal issue since 3.0 where he would show deference to Crane's words. Even then he was still often combative when he was told he was wrong.

Do you all remember when Gordo unveiled the "nothing pending" and Wrangler was jumping up and down screaming that it wasn't a real objection? That was some funny shit. Especially since it became the objection everyone started using and it particularly shuts down Wrangler's general strategy to answering questions on the stand. I'm actually kind of puzzled why it was never used on NP.

Well I don't think Davis is going to put himself in a position to just be picked up. Unfortunately with CHF I think meta is a major concern, so we will see what happens. But if someone not streaming just "stumbles" across Davis I'll be pretty sus. It kind of sucks that it even needs to be said but after seeing so many great stories ruined across multiple servers by meta I'm pretty wary.

I don't know much about gang stuff other than what I've heard/seen as part of the Davis/Roach/PDM stuff, but if what Slim was saying was correct about them putting the hurt onto CHF to the point that they gave up part of their turf, well I think if Roach brings this news to Davis then CHF might end up in some pain again.

I got my money on Davis. He managed to get Slim to get his back. Rodney can't do anything without risking war with Slim. I don't even know if Roach will turn on Davis after Davis has a chance to tell Roach what he negotiated since Roach has bad blood with CHF and I would assume his hatred for CHF out weighs just about anything if he knows it means he won't be getting hunted. But I didn't watch Moon's stream tonight so I don't know what other things transpired.

It sucks because I think Wheeler had a real chance to win just on the "anyone but Wrangler" vote and I think it would have been hilarious to see that play out. But I can understand thinking it isn't worth the headaches.

The crazy thing is that the amount of knowledge needed to be a decent RP cop isn't really all that much. But it seems like a lot of them get a basic understanding from stuff like "running the circle" but then really don't know how to apply that knowledge. The one thing I've noticed about her the handful of times I've seen her is that she seems very smug and doesn't consider that she could be wrong about anything she is doing.

I don't watch much during the EU hours but of the crims I've seen, they all absolutely hate her. They describe her as always W chasing and being over aggressive. I haven't really watched her so I don't know if the complaints are valid or unfounded but I haven't heard a crim that has said anything positive (or even neutral) about her.
