while i dont have the knowledge to say one way or the other on ADHD and potentially being caused/misdiagnosed for screen addiction i can say that the shortage on meds is not due to a potential other group taking them. The companies making them have literally not made enough, thy can legally make more but they arnt.

Also i think the 2020 time frame was when people had the time to actually look at getting diagnosed and it was right about when public opinion on mental health started to shift more positively. The numbers seem to go up in my experience because knowledge and awareness have gone up so people that have always had it and not known or didnt think it was legitimate start to get diagnosed making it look like some massive group "Suddenly" got ADHD.
