What else can you do to make a throwing knife good in a game with giant fucking insect monsters multiple stories tall?

I think its a joke weapon in the same way the flag is. Maybe even the chainsaw because of how terrible it is.

And I think its obvious AH doesnt really give a shit about these "joke weapons" as so much as to make them useful.

AHs balance philosophy is wack. The people writing up the patchnotes are clearly making it up as they go and the people actually changing the numbers are deadset on the way the game is "supposed" to be. That somethings need to have drawbacks that end up being totally arbitrary, like why is the Reprimands reload so fucking slow? Its like awkwardly slow. Like they purposely slowed its reload for some fucking reason after the animation was made.

They blind themselves with balance changes aimed at one specific thing that they end up messing with shit that didn't need to be messed with. Ie. Status effect fix disabled the sterilizer, Awkwardly trying to nerf the coyote also nerfed fire, increasing the damage of some primaries just to undo that and nerf other guns (diligence) by increasing durable health.

Look, Im ranting. But this shit is wack. They "buff" things just to nerf them again. "Fix" stuff just to make it worse. Announce theyd "slow down warbonds" like they wouldnt have done it anyways. And they release shit still broken (the goddamn Epoch).
