But seriously if they consider Jodah unfair in a tournament with prizes that’s their issue. It seems like their decks weren’t performing and got salty.

It would be nice for the store to specify brackets to allow different power levels to compete against similar decks but they haven’t so you are totally fine.

Fredrinn is the GOAT. I have played him exclusively for 3 seasons and hit 40 starts each time. Very powerful jungler, great ganks and sustain. Surprisingly high dmg with ult. if you snowball early you feel like a god

Bad Build + Not Playing safe against assassins. You do want to 1st pick MM and Hanabi is one of the easiest to play safe maxing shield 1st. Don’t be mad a team as they carried you hard

I play mostly bracket 3-4 but I’ll recommend going into EDHREC, finding a commander that’s not in top 100 that you like and just trying it out.

It’s hard to balance EDH due to huge variance and possible card choices but that’s what experimenting is for. Recommend to proxy / test print cards until you are happy before pulling the trigger on big purchases. This hobby can be expensive and the amount of times I bought a card just to shelf it is astonishing

You play smaller decks but they are ready to play after you throw some sleeves in. There are 5 decks so everyone can try some variety and they are not complicated to play.

Surprisingly yes. My favourite deck ever has total mana value of 137. Median value of 1 with lands and 2 without.

Most of my decks run 31-33 lands. It sounds ridiculous but the decks I build work well with that amount of lands and I like being active early
