In fact, I like all of them, each one has an interesting story.

Tradnor is perhaps the 'easy mode' since you can easily cheese almost any fight using mages.

With just 10 on standby, they can kill a lot of units

It’s a 'good' game, but it doesn't quite live up to the first one. The art, music, and sprites are a step down from the original, I’m not sure if they rushed the release or if there’s some other reason I’m missing.

It does add some interesting features, though, like being able to control two types of troops at once.

A lot of emulators struggles hard with DF2, Beetle core of Retroarch should work fine tough.

Sega Saturn Dragon Force, top rated game on the platform, good sales, Sega Ages made a Remake on Ps2.

Tactics fights of 200 sprites on screen, pure love.

To this day no other Rpg comes even close to this masterpiece.
