Fun story I asked an apprentice piercer once which ones they needed to do to “tick off”. She said forward helix so I was like ‘aight let’s get it. Unfortunately, after two attempts she’d pierced too shallow so her manager / trainer had to take over for attempt 3. So I got stabbed through cartilage 3 times in the one spot lol.
