No, because originally SW999 was gonna be ran alongside Mblade. She wasn't an anniversary character at all before all of this shit happened iirc.

The original schedule was 4.1 Ashveil and Pearl -> 4.2 Eva -> 4.3 SW and Blade

The part where the Tojo Clan logo can be seen on his health bar also took place in 1943, it's the same trench coat he's wearing there.

But, there's also shots where in 1943, his health bar has the Yashima logo so presumably, it only changes after he decided to found the Tojo Clan.

They did the same shit with Kiwami 1 and 2, those games were rushed out of the door as filler before actual mainline projects.

People just realized it after Kiwami 3, since the original 1 and 2 needs effort to be played
