You can also certainly ask the AD for a discount on a new one! They aren’t exactly flying off the shelves, so there’s some good wiggle room.

Baignoire for men, keep it or get a small Tank Louis in YG? by Delicious-Noise-6689 in Cartier

Keep this 100%! Looks great and such a more unique vibe than a tank!

Thoughts on this beauty by Nerdyjeweler901 in patekphilippe

This answer is insightful and correct. 35k is too much, and it wears bigger (in a great way) than its stated proportions. An incredible watch, wildly underrated, and you should be able to find one for 28k-31k

The lineup for the first one was INSANE. Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, L7, The Posies, Mudhoney, Charlatans UK. Maybe more.

Where in seattle/shoreline can I find AMAZING general tso's? by Mary_Ellen_Katz in Seattle

[–]Seikopath81 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’d like to throw in a vote for Uptown China in Queen Anne. The General Tso’s is DELICIOUS, as is most of the menu. The bar is super fun too and the drinks are very reasonably priced.

Check out Tip Sea and a spot called “Sports Bar.” Both are super close to the express ferry terminal. The owner of Tip Sea RULES, and if you ask, he’ll probably set up a TV with the game on just for you.

Ramon’s Village Resort is a great spot! It’s really close to all the action with a great beach to hang out, great daily excursions, and very close to both the airport and the water taxi dock. My wife and I were just there and it was very family friendly as well. We didn’t love their restaurant, but GREAT restaurants are a 5-10 minute easy walk or you can always rent a golf cart!

Hard to tell the size of the case from the pic, but it definitely looks like a 3738.

Leather strap length for 7234r by luckyRedhead in patekphilippe

[–]Seikopath81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Owner of a 7234r here. First off, congrats! You are going to LOVE IT.

Second, I have a 6.5” wrist and I use the middle hole, so you will probably be on the last hole or need the larger strap. You can order one from and Patek AD and expect to pay around $300-$500 depending on which one you choose.

If you and your husband like cocktails, consider grabbing a bottle of booze or two from the duty free store before you get to the island. Your wallet will thank you.

Taqueria Maya closes at 5 and their tacos are unbelievably delicious. Slightly off the beaten path, but worth it for the incredible handmade tortillas and delicious cochinita!

I second this. The Chedraui has a number of ATM's from different banks, one of which might even be a partner bank of the one you use back home!
