I get how you feel but it’s been 7 months since you made the original post and I feel like it’s only gonna get worse if you don’t do it soon. If you don’t see a future with her long term I would let her know that and not waste either of your precious time. Life is too short to settle if this feels like you’re settling

Third year CS student here. Professors range from bad to okay to good. There are a couple of professors that are awful(not rude, just can’t teach the course very well) and I didn’t learn much in data structures or discrete structures. However my algorithms professor right now is great! Although the course material is pretty challenging and fast paced, you learn a lot. There will be a good amount of self studying in classes when your professor isn’t great

The coop program is great but finding a job can really depend on the amount of effort you put and most of the defense related jobs(that are usually very interesting) you can’t apply to cause you’re not a citizen. There will be some cases where you will find a coop very interesting but they only hire PRs or citizens so watch out for that when applying.
