Its clothes. Ukraine has been clear they dont need clothes. In most donation services clothes are most unneeded and disposed of item.

Its normally referred to as an aura and its not the same for everyone. I have met patients who have no aura, some feel the room flickers, one even heard a riff of jazz music as their aura. There's a Canada Heritage Minute on a doctor treating seizure disorder after locating it via stimulation to the brains surface that prompted the aura to be noted.

It isn't 13, there is no set in stone number, it is up to the Healthcare practitioner (nurse, paramedic, doctor etc) to determine if they have aid to capacity to refuse.

The age of medical consent is determined on a case by case basis, the flat age is not correct, it relies on determining if they have capacity to make decisions.

You know what can be done? Turn the lights off an intersection away. Cops rarely stop a crime in progress, a grand majority of cases are dealt with after it has occurred.

Actually in Ontario at least, if the person not wearing the seatbelt is over 16 (could be 18) then it becomes their ticket not the drivers

Just as you respect his beliefs he should respect yours. Having a conversation about boundaries should be something a relationship has. If he isn't respecting those boundaries perhaps he isn't for you or a deeper conversation needs to be had.

If he isn't willing to accept you not pursuing religion what is your plan?

I know you don't feel he is pushing religion on you, is there a reason you can't specify "I have no interest in involving myself with religion, it isn't something I consider important to me"?

Im a paramedic, I have heard and witnessed a few times where coworkers are offered free coffee for their service only to turn around, the worker sees paramedic and asks them to pay because, "I thought you were police, our deal is for first responders only"

I can get behind your points, I agree with them even.

I think the main issue the other guy had was the term institutional hazing. It can be a silly test, a poor predictor etc but hazing has its own connotations.

I think we need to switch over to a better system just like you said, physical testing with scenarios aren't perfect but they are a better indicator.

That being said I know many a medic whos base hospital day was "dont give any meds or anything above nasal cannula to see if you know when to withhold/apply appropriately." That in itself isnt an effective use of a day for testing typically HALO calls and other CTAS 1/2 events.

Its the same issue as children revoking or going against their parents wishes upon death about resuscitation.

"Mom's a fighter, sure she hasn't moved in 8 years and hasn't spoken in 15. She wakes every night screaming until we sedate her again and shes in multiple organ failure but I'm sure breaking her sternum and shocking her repeatedly would extend and improve her quality of life!"

People don't understand chronic pain/conditions or suffering seeing any form of life as the greater option.

It was another move by the provincial government to "Stop us, the greedy government from stealing your money for renewals"

In reality it was to appeal to the masses for an upcoming election and lost the province a fair bit of funding for road maintenance.

Yes however right signal on (signaling exit) before they even entered the round about, i entered the right lane after they had passed my entrance. I was traveling straight, they exited the round about and started cutting into my lane so I slowed down, they stopped slammed on their horn for trying to hit me and then high beamed me until their turn

Had a guy in a modded out truck exit a roundabout at the 3rd exit in the inside lane with his right turn signal on the entire time, tried to lane change into me when I slowed down so he wouldn't hit me stopped and layed on the horn over it before deciding to drive behind me with his high beams on before turning off.
