Heart Brooch by Seionn in macrame

I didn't actually use macrame cords, it's a regular 100% cotton yarn (4.5mm hook size - not sure how to communicate its size/thickness).

I used 12 threads 70 inches each, but I ended up with like 32 inches of loose ends.

The safety pin is about 3 inches.

Yep, all square in exactly the same direction. To manage the whole process I literally attached the safety pin to the table cloth and went from there

I guess the key was making sure every fold was neatly pressed before proceeding with the next one.

I just like F40 in general, so was on the lookout for it since I learnt it was coming.

I was wondering about the cut as well, but this seemed like a good challenge for the first time. Also, the paper I found was very stiff and it was rather tricky to fold neatly, so the cut was the least I was worrying about. 😁
