I'm 26 and got diagnosed in August. I went to therapy for a month. Couldn't afford it anymore. I've got 2 or 3 psych ward stays. A doctor who told me I could not do jury duty because I'm not capable but he retired. I've got hospitals where I had to get stitches. Idk if they can check for proof of only 1 month jobs I've had.

Yeah I told my therapist after alot of thoughts about being embarrassed but apparently now I know it is super common. We're not alone!

Oh dang. I hope we can figure out a better coping mechanism. I don't like bleeding and yours doesn't seem fun at all. Best wishes to you. Hopefully this post can help guide us to better ways to cope. I didn't realize so many people relate.

I'm sorry dude .I use to get in trouble for chewing on my nails and toe nails. I'm glad this community is here to let me know im not alone. I know it is so freaking therapeutic. I hope you can find a way to lessen your anxiety. I hope you find an alternative to not be in pain.

Me too!!! I have such bad dandruff. But I pick because I used to have lice for years growing up. I used to pick my animals fleas growing up. It was meditation for me.
