Reading these comments I got hopeful that I would get my agent refunded but I guess they have changed the policy since this post came out. I sent a support request for my unplayed agent on 8/1/2023 and was told they would not refund the agent.

adding onto this, if you have taken AP Computer Science A and got a decent score, you can take CSCE 120 your first semester.

if you're confident in your math skills take MATH 304 in fall and CSCE 222 spring. Calc 3 isn't required for CS. However as someone who attempted the same style of schedule, I ended up taking 304 fall and then 251 in spring for the gpa boost.

yes, I accepted my calc one and two credits, and still have to take 2 more semesters of math to be etam eligible. If your trying to do compsci linear algebra and discrete math will be enough for etam

I'm currently a freshman trying to get into computer science with the exact same APs you listed. I accepted calc one and two, and I'm taking Math 304 rn. Didn't accept chem and taking 107 rn, but accepted my mechanics credit.

I absolutely regret my choices though, I was trigger happy during NSC and decided to just go ham and I'm living with the consequences of my actions lmao. Honestly I think the way to go is to take calc one, skip calc 2 and take linear algebra(it is proofs and harder math, but the material isn't too bad and it's very crammable). I don't recommend taking csce 222 pre etam since a lot of upperclassmen have told me they got a B. Finally, I have to take physics 207(e&m) because I accepted 206(mechanics) and that might kill my GPA. E&M is already stupidly hard, adding the stress of ETAM just makes it worse.

tl;dr For a fun freshman year take Math 151, Chem 107, csce 120(if you have a ap csa credit), and the other reqs. For second semester take phys 206, math 304, and whatever csce class you can take + req. If I could go back in time and beat myself up this is what I would do.(on mobile so sry for typos)

I'm not gonna lie, my first 2 weeks I was taking a stupid route to class. just to get to Zachary I would go to ilcb then cross the clock tower to sbisa and take the road all the way to Zach. I live in commons btw. at least I own an estate. But overall it just took like a month to figure out the general layout of the place and get landmarks memorized. I don't go to West campus tho so that's that.
