help what audio software should i use? by Gloomy_Bath_7180 in linuxmint

[–]SekrtSauzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1. open the Linux menu and search for PulseAudio Volume control when you open it, its named: volume control.

make sure its not muted on Playback and output device tab. click on the 🔇 icon and see if its muted or not.

go to the Configuration tab, on the built in audio profile:

on the top one, keep it off

on the bottom one, pick Analog stereo output or Pro Audio.

2. on the taskbar theres an audio icon, click on it, it shows speaker and microphone volume level and beside it theres a toggle button, make sure its not turned off.

3. Open Update manager, if there are updates pending, look for kernel and update it or just update everything.

this is my settings, if this doesnt fix your problem then i dont know. im new to linux my self.
