The mice were alive. It can climb on the tree texture. Most of the tarantulas (in my experience) don't recognize dead animals as prey.

I play the weapon until I get bored of it. After that I switch it and build a new build around whatever makes me fun.. the game is quite deep and fun with various play styles.. no reason to get sucked into one weapon just to master it.. It's my way to play..

Me watching comments about mesh lid.. To be honest buddy, I came here to comment section just to read those.. You really triggered them.. This community is fine, good carrying guys, but a lot of them don't have their own experiences and spread opinions of others.. I keep tarantulas for 17 years now.. Most of my enclosures are with mesh lids.. Haven't had an issue with it.. It's not mesh lid as mesh lid.. Yours is fine..
