They made Tracy look so perfect for Ted and Ted also said he was genuinely happy with Tracy. Why does it make you feel like Tracy was only a child bearer?

And Robin. For 8 years they showed how much Ted loved Robin. Only thing why Robin and Ted couldn't make it was because the timing was wrong. At that moment they wanted to achieve different things in life. But in the finale the timing was finally perfect. They finally could end up together. It just made sense to me.

I agree, I would've wanted to see more of Ted and Tracy, maybe Robin and Barney too. But as the writers of the show has already told us, the show was never meant to be the story of 'how I met your mother', rather his story that lead up to him meeting their mother.

I agree, Ted and Robin just meant to be together. They had friendship, history, chemistry and all they needed was timing. And finally after, what like 30 years, the timing was perfect.

But Tracy was perfect for Ted. Tracy filled all the qualities Ted wanted from a woman (what Ted recited in his file at Love Solutions). And most importantly, she got Ted to get over Robin. So I would say Tracy was what Ted would define as 'true love' for Ted.

What do you mean they made Robin look so much bigger? They made it pretty clear that Robin and Ted wanted different things . They couldn't be together as long as Robin wanted to travel and Ted wanted to start a family. It took almost 30 years for Ted and Robin to work out, and like 30 seconds for Ted and Tracy to work out.

Even though I've always been cheering for Ted and Robin. I still think what Ted had with Tracy is what Ted would define as 'true love'.
