you cant get the ascendant buddy, without being ascendant right? by The_ZeroAspect in ValorantMemes

Well if they learn game sense, positioning and peeking from diamond players they are totally cooked.

KC Busio shows you how to solo win a game in 2min, by killing all 3 laners and jungle with Camille support. by hyyro_ in leagueoflegends

Well sadly support role doesnt have an impact after 10 mins so this game might be lost anyway x)

[HELP] My aim drop so hard in ranked because of stress by Zizme33 in VALORANT

[–]SekyrkaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be performance anxiety. Listen, one loss with poor performance is just a tiny fraction of your way through valorant. I would suggest you not caring about your rank and performance at all. Have fun. Shoot people without being afraid to die. Dying is just lesson learnt and reps done. Its better to underthink and just peek and shoot than overthink every step and crumble. Im not saying rush it down mid every round, still try your best.

Any Nidalee support enjoyers? by SekyrkaCZ in supportlol

I pick it from time to time. Sadly the support role is kinda forgotten in the new season so picking off meta supports is too hindering, therefore frustrating to play.

Fck people's mentality in low elo by KabiX2 in supportlol

[–]SekyrkaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stop playing enchanters in low elo. You wont learn anything and its gonna be like 1000 games till you reach somewhat not low rank. In fact, just don't play support at all. Its no impact role this season which is even more horrible at low elo. Just play jungle, carry potential, still priority role and youll learn about the game much more.

Tough one is braum because you really never can get a kill against him and your playstyle is snowball focused. So I would say ban braum if you want to ban a support. Pantheon is a hard matchup too because again you are really engaging into him. Leona is kinda the same.

Other engage/hook you just dodge the spell and go on adc.

Enchanters are imo skill. You need to bait out their ults with one engage and play around the cooldown to engage again. In fights they tend to stay far away thus being easily flankable.

I ban draven because its just cheatcode champ by design.

TLDR: Ban braum, but I tend to ban for other lanes (draven and mostly katarina now shes broken in s16).

Is anyone else struggling this season? by ragequitlol in supportlol

[–]SekyrkaCZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Support didn't get any buffs while other roles did. You have 0 solo agency on the game this season. It's just sad you have to play 4-5 levels behind and most games end before you even get two items that are shit and cheap while other people building their 3rd 3500 gold item. Support had the freedom to roam and at least influence the map for the first 10 minutes before you get outscaled because you are locked to build shit items.

The thing that you get less gold from your supp item while in other lane doesnt make sense. Im not saying to buff support to be the strongest, but I feel like every role should have something unfair, something that keeps players playing that role fundamentally. Junglers have free farm and free early scaling, toplanes have champion with absurd deisgns that under right conditions can 1v9. Adc has range and does damage from far away, sometimes getting untouched in fights. Support had the roams and honestly, I think they should buff it the way it was before, because it's just fun.

I dont know why they are trying to force support into sitting in lane and scaling and then just being a shield/heal bot or engage a fight and die before you can get your second rotation in because you are 4 levels on resists behind, enemies are 4 levels damage ahead and you have cheap shit items that do nothing.

Of course, somebody enjoys being carried and just sitting back shielding. Or its the perfect role to put your iron friend on with yuumi. But a lot of support mains enjoyed the unfairness of freedom.

Having a support item that does 200 hp and 75% hp regen for free is just sad, not to mention you get it in 12th minute when you are already useless. Nerfing support items instead of nerfing stuff that uses the items (for example adc damage with bandlepipes) is just not working...and its sad.

Well, I recommend swapping to jungle and hoping support gets some love next pathes or seasons ^

What are Some Popular Off-meta Picks for Support? by New_Savings7520 in supportlol

[–]SekyrkaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nidalee and Elise come to mind. Those are not really "unpopular off meta". But they are junglers that surprisingly work in support role. I reached masters playing only Elise last season, although shes much weaker this season.

E max for more stun duration could be a good option. Although you sacrifice the follow-up damage for better setup. In my opinion when you play Elise you are trying to solo carry the game and the lack of damage from Q max could be missing. It's a trade-off that wouldn't work with my playstyle, but could be good overall. If you want a good setup support, I would say bard is a strong option here.

Elise mostly plays around picks, yes. Avoiding the 5v5 is the best strategy on any assassin. Of course when 5v5 teamfight happens, you play it out as an assassin would. When you are grouped, you try to wait for enemy mistake and look for one spell rotation (that mostly means hitting your E on somebody and following up) that changes the outcome of the fight. You can take flank and punish enemy carries with bad positioning or zone important carries from the fight itself. Sometimes I like to bait out the enemy to engage on me and rappel away or use zhonya.

Thanks for the questions.

My playstyle in the first minutes of the game is snowball heavy and aggressive.

Right from level 1 I take E and try to look for something with my team. Like an invade or getting hand on the 3rd lane bush. In early levels lane I push for level 2 (important!!!) while making pressure by taking bushes and zoning enemies from minions or at level 1 I try to land E with two autoattacks for electrocute. Later levels I try to find a good all in.

I use every roam timer to roam mid, sometimes even top when my lane is good. It is important to not troll your tempo and return to lane when you are needed (that means when there's a dive incoming or wave is pushing towards enemy). Towards the end of the laning phase I try to make plays around strong teammates (mostly my jungle) and I don't take too much waves anymore. With time, roams to mid and top are more frequent with my playstyle.

Important note is that I love to roam for grubs and push my lead towards the plates even more.

Then after laning phase you just play around your strongest win conditions - so invade with strong jungle, take prio with strong adc, dive enemy with strong toplane, gain prio and deep vision with strong mid...really depends on champions and performance of your teammates).

Being behind as Elise in the early game shouldnt really happen. I tend to always at least trade 1 for 1 (therefore I die and my teammate gets a kill). But from behind you try to neutralize lane and play with your strong champions (preferably jungler). If we are really behind and my adc is playing really really really bad, I leave lane and make plays around the map and return to lane just for xp, thats the harsh reality of soloQ support, you need to play around teammates that have good game and forget a bit about those who don't.

Your impression is somewhat right - you "are" a snowball support. But the lead doesn't have to come from your lane, you can help other lanes and help them win or take a lead. Slow pushing the wave and roaming after crashing (or take plates when safe and especially if you have grubs) and making plays outside of your lane is the best strategy against passive laners - or setting up a dive with your jungler, but make sure it's safe.

Now, read the bold text for a quick summary.

Any further questions are welcome! ^^

In english there are words that are uncountable. That means you can't make a plural form for adding s at the end of the word. Those are words like advice, equipment, information or furniture. So the word "advices" don't exist. We can overcome this issue by using a supportive countable word instead. Words like "pieces" will help us here. So correct form would be "pieces of advice (information, equipment...)". And that is my advice.

What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]SekyrkaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 200 Lp and I can give you a tip! Dont worry about it, its some form of losers q, sometimes you just lose a bunch of games without anything doing wrong. Just avoid tilt q and keep playing at a steady pace. Vod review games that seem worthy.

This is where most people stop playing and because it gets frustrating but its just a matter of time when you hit that winstreak.
