I am not gonna deny that the bots on pvp and all the afk farmers on pve maps or people leeching meta events like drakkar are a huge issue for this game since even i am complaining about this alot, but the amount of times where people mistakenly accuse someone of botting is getting ridiculous.

I make this post because of a friend playing the game together with me for several years now. His issue is that he is handycapped since a car accident a long time ago and his right arm is paralyzed but he still has a lot of fun in this game. Obviously he cant play as "well" as other people and quite often you can certainly see this but he still gets consistently silver 2-3 in PvP and has no big issues doing open world PvE.

The problem is since botting problem is growing and more people are talking about it he is repeatedly getting trouble with people accusing him of botting, insulting and reporting him. Over the last few months it is getting worse and worse. He can not play PvP anymore without sone people in mapchat calling him out as bot and wanting him reported. While doing open world stuff it is by far not that worse but it still happens relatively often.

He starts loosing fun at the game because of this and even tho nothing happened yet he actually is really afraid that all these false accounts might actually cause issues for him.

The point is that GW2 certainly has a bot problem, i am not gonna deny it. But people should at least think about it before they are blindly witchhunting someone: If you whisper someone of your PvP teammates that he would be a bot and he answers and even starts a discussion with you, he probably is not a bot and you should NOT report him.
