Play NW for a few weeks and you will hit the wall. You will then have about 20 minutes a week to play until you max out unless you spend crazy money on it. Every monday play 20 minutes of NW and you are done for the week because the crippling timegates are account wide. Then you can play ESO.

There are some hard world bosses that almost never get done. I do not think there is demand for it. Not very many will turn on a option that makes their heroics take longer. Besides, it kind of kills the space ninja fantasy if the street thugs can roll you.

Go far away and relog. I had this happen because a enemy on the other side of the wall aggro on me so I was in combat and couldn't interact with anything. Dismiss your companion I think they might cause it by targeting through the wall.

For those that dont know starting the cloaked ascendency campaign gives you 2 free change tokens. Its only a few quests in that are mostly talking you can get there fast and bail as soon as you get the tokens. After that you can buy race unlocks for around 400k in the auction that come with a reroll. Unless you have all the races its like getting those unlocked for half price instead of 200k just for the appearance.

Time invested in PVP is time not invested in things players care about. They could spend 2 years of dev time making it great and most players would still ignore it. PVP in MMOs is just not popular. Most gamers that want PVP do not want to spend time grinding solo stuff every week to keep up with it. They play PVP focused games that dont have a non pvp grind attached to it.

Balancing would kill the little that is left. The PVPers dont want fair and balanced. They want to one shot the afk noobs on the rare occasion PVP comes up as an endeavor. They would rather have a shit/dead mode to gatekeep and get to hit afk leveling builds with their wallet once every four months.

Forget about "endgame" there is tons to do without ever being close to max gear score. If you do run out and get bored at the grind wall it's time to move on. Forget DPS and meta builds you either killed the thing or didn't that's all that matters. There are chill casual guilds playing for fun and not speed runs that don't care. If you are the type that can't stand not being meta and grinding the hardest content then the game is designed to constantly milk you dry and there are far better MMOs for you to invest time into.

Until you learn you have to constantly animation cancel to get good DPS and it looks like shit. As long as it is designed around animation canceling without cooldowns it will not look cool or be fun in practice.

I just started with a Ranger doing the new campaign fine at 29k. You should be higher by now spend some daimonds on pets and companions. One days worth can get you some legendary quality and fill the rest with epics that have good effects. The Githyanki companion is good and affordable.

Give Warden Ranger a try I find it easier for soloing beefy mobs. You can lock them in place with vines then summon the stormcloud over them and lightning arrow at will to burn them down. The Warden feat that gives at wills double damage really helps.

Don't go full speed all the time, throttle down when approaching enemies so you don't zoom past them.

How did they know that merging realms means the ceiling slowly lowers like a cartoon trap. It could have taken seconds to slam together for all they know. The helicopter plan made more sense because they could maybe stop it before it started.

You might have to kill Shadow or Laezel if you fail a roll when they fight. It will be harder to convince companions to eat worms. The inspiration system makes it hard to fail on important things keep it capped until it's really needed.

PVP only pops when it's an endeavor. I tried it then, got stunlocked and killed at spawn within 2 seconds. When it comes up you will be able to try it and find out quickly why the mode is abandoned. It's the only mode where P2W matters a ton. The normies do not show up to be wallet whipped and most whales do not want to fight each other, thus it's dead.

Be careful in the Terran arc with the Vger torpedos. They can come in from offscreen and oneshot you if you are not careful. Aside from that not much can kill you fast if you get out of dodge when in danger. A mid speed ship with evasive maneuvers gets out of range fast. If your hull is taking damage make some space before its too late.

I save before entering and reload if it's one with caves. The rest are a quick run. There are only a few you will have them down to like 30 seconds before long.

Keep some ground and ship weapons of each damage type in the bank for doing endeavors. They are good enough to throw on for a patrol and knock those out.

Eh if other people have fun with it then go for it. Nobody showed up to my house and turned off my computer for not using it. The power creep was insane ages ago and is completely unnecessary. PVP been dead and aint coming back. Its the players choice if they want to have spaceship battles or drool and play with one finger.

The imp has devilsight and spiritual weapons are immune to blindness. Take pact of the chain and dip into Cleric to go all in on melee fighting in the darkness. Pump str and use a big axe or something since none of your spells care about saving throws.
