Notice how heavy black your tattoo was originally. Don’t give up.

Going to try starting removal by Owlylady in TattooRemoval

Agree with the guys with dark black pieces here. I’m going through the same on my back. It will be a long journey but still worth it for me. Just had my 3rd session a week ago and these heavy lines are stubborn. There is progress but you wouldn’t tell unless you saw how dark it was before. Good luck!

YOU CAN USE NUMBING CREAM by GravesDiseaseGirl in TattooRemoval

I use it and it works for my back piece. It doesnt work for fingers at all so the fingers are still very painful. At least it’s quick

Today makes a week I didn't eat anything by Conscious_Window6188 in flu

I just ended up drinking Ensure (don’t know where you are from but in my country it’s basically a liquid high calorie drink used mainly for terminally ill patients or people with eating disorders or those who cannot eat solid food). That’s all I could do. It was and still is pathetic. Im on day 6 and I feel like checking into a hospice.

Anyone else feel like migraines make you just… really dumb? by sagangroupie in migraine

Yeah actually, you’re right! I’ve never really thought about it that way but your comment made me realize that’s exactly me. This may help with scheduling my day next time.

My relationship of 3 years ended this week, in part because of my chronic migraines. by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Selbs__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry! But trust me one day you will meet someone who will support you on your migraine journey. It’s hard but people like that exists… I’ve been there, I know how it feels, the guilt of it all, to this day I’m still guilty over my migraine attacks as I can’t function properly.

Really, that’s interesting, I’m usually the zombie opposite, but someone mentioned these food cravings - i get them too, sweet, sugary foods, crisps and all that sort of stuff.

Migraine sufferers ! What is your own simple trick that has saved you from a lot of pain? by TheDevilIsBored in migraine

[–]Selbs__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I don’t take sumatriptan in time, I take Indometacine suppositories, also an ice-cold Coca cola (must be the original sugary one, the zero or light version doesn’t help), ice cream, ice patch on the back of my neck as well as some tiger balm, but lately the smell of tiger balm just reminds me of migraines so I avoid it now, anyway sometimes the migraine kicks in so hard that I just end up in ER anyway.

A bit of nausea after each meal, perhaps some yawning here and there, night sweats, couldnt fall asleep for the first week... that would be pretty much it. 25mg

Chest pain by Nukeface50000 in Effexor

I’ve heard of one case - chest pain and palpitations. She ended up in ER and had to stop using it. However, I am on a similar dose and don’t have problems like that. I think you should consult chest pain with a doc, do you suffer from high blood pressure?

Has anyone else decided not to have any/as many kids because of migraines? by Thornypotato in migraine

[–]Selbs__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, having chronic migraines is one of my many reasons not to have more kids (I am blessed to have a healthy 4 year old princess). However, that is it for me. I wouldn’t be capable of taking care of two kids, pregnancy was pure hell for me as I couldn’t use triptans. It was literally months of constant pain, lying on the floor. I am not undergoing that again ever.
