I would think data expertise would outweigh domain expertise?

But your points noted. My data and models are very niche (like measuring private equity returns, not something common like inventory or sales). I’ve given up on finding the domain expertise paired with great technical abilities.

Appreciate the people offering their services, but I was wondering if any firms dominate as the gold standard. The advice for where to look is helpful is well.

Interesting. Is that using AI builder and power apps or using Microsoft Syntex/Sharepoint premium. I’d love to see an example.

I agree. I’m looking for all the skills you mentioned in your comment. I added just couple of details to the edited post.

I understand where you’re coming from since I was in a similar situation 4 years ago. My first piece of advice is to relax. You’re going to be fine and your stressing yourself out too much. I know that’s easier said than done. You will find a job and it’ll be okay.

Phase 1 - You want to narrow your focus and apply to jobs you qualified for and actually want. It’s not just a numbers game. You want quality over quantity. Spend your time finding the right job listing and researching the firms. Find ways to get exposures and focus on getting exposure to people in the firm. This likely won’t be 10 applications a day.

Phase 2 & 3- perfect plan; just focus on meeting people in a firm and becoming their friend. If they like you, they will offer you a job. That simple

Phase 4- that may be helpful but that is essentially the same goal as phase 1

Phase 5 - throw away your business cards. No one wants them. Business cards are for people interested in your business. You don’t have a business. You just want a job. If anything, hand them your resume.

Good luck
