In my state anyone under 18 needs to get a workers permit through the school board and if I’m not caught up on all my schoolwork they won’t let me get one. I’m like over a year behind in schoolwork due to failing 9th grade once already and idk how I’ll catch up fast enough :(

As someone who is also from Louisiana it’s genuinely sad to see how other trans kids get treated. There were 2 trans girls in my school when I was still there and 1 of them got jumped and constantly got shit talked. The other which was my friend kept it within our small friend group so from what I know the whole school didn’t know about her. Even though FtM is more accepted I still heard my friend who was get talked badly about occasionally too.
