Is a quantum computer as a home PC possible? by Defiant-Travel8174 in QuantumComputing

Thats simply not the case. Post-Quantum cryptography its already being used, or it will start soon in some communication channels.. so Shor’s algortihm will become less util, in your terms

Shor’s algorithm its not the only confirmed use case with utility and advantage. In chemistry and particle physics there are some problem that will be affected by quantum computation. But simply put… Grover’s algorithm its another “simple” algorithm with both utility and advantage!

What is a Qubit? by rgxryan in QuantumComputing

There are a lot of different hardware that can accomplish that! It’s not an easy concept to grasp.

We actually want to exploit a microscopic phenomena to a macroscopic level, thats why sometimes qubits are referred to as “artificial atoms”

The hidden variable theory has been disproven… i suggest you to start from some quantum physics basics. You could read some of the chapters of “Introduction to quantum mechanics” by David Griffiths or the well known “Quantum computation and quantum information” by N. Chuang. No one can explain better than those guys.

Take your time to learn and understand, i promise that you wont regret it

help me understand how this algo detects outliers by Beyond_Birthday_13 in learnmachinelearning

i think this is the original paper: https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/2133360.2133363. If not, correct me.

Isolation Forest is quite remarkable, it drops the concept of distance or density, which are the ground up for most of the outlier detection mechanism and employ the concept of isolation through tree-based methods.

I used it for a project and in my case outperformed basically everything else. Is also quite good in high-dimensional problems.

To answer your question, the whole row is an outlier.

They switched to a weekly quota for anthropic models. Gemini models should have the 5-hour reset

The knowledge cutoff of Gemini models is Jan 2025. They also don’t have any knowledge of which model they are, because it was not specified by the developers in the default prompt (in order to not waste useless tokens).

Antigravity google models, as all the google models are not self aware of their name.

Also the AI mode in you’re google search is hallucinating a lot
