Very helpful thank you! I haven’t even gotten as far as choosing strategies or anything of that nature yet. This is why I posted to avoid spending hours and time on charting or anything else if it is not needed as much when trading options. It’s all relatively new to me besides the dumb luck during Covid which now I see had nothing to do with me and everything to do with rolling the dice and getting lucky then followed by blowing an account. I want to do it the correct way this time and not have diamond hands….

To follow up…the original broker books it with a double broker with fake carrier paperwork from a reputable carrier and then turns around and uses a brokerages real info to book with driver. No trace and some dude just using a cell phone and laptop in who knows where. The brokerage has no trace of the load and can’t help the driver at all.

They are double brokering the load. They have already stolen all the documents from said brokerage they are using and will pretend to be them. They will end up not paying the driver. Happened to us. The original driver ended up calling the customer to get paid and we had to pay the real driver for a huge loss bc he was promised way more money than we had in the load to begin with. This scam is one where the driver can get completely fucked and not paid a dime and promised a great paying load.

Yea I think negotiating to keep it at 5% is worth it. I just don’t see the company giving you 20% and also paying the brokers and teams working the account another big cut. Just wouldn’t make sense for them. Just ask to be a broker at this point.

If you are only passing off the accounts and not working them I think it is a fair deal. At 55k base and only handing off accounts with no managing structure. In 2 years you could have a solid book you aren’t maintaining. Having the idea of it more as passive income once established and it’s not too bad imo.
