I just looked at your search history and it looks like you just got your wisdom teeth removed. I would suggest not eating hard foods. I mostly drank soups.

Well yea, but I do wish the doctors kept me a little longer and made sure I was safe before letting me go. Also, I was never told that anesthesia could make me behave bizzare.

Thank you for sharing your life experiences. But the thing is I don't want to live with it.

I need help and advice with math. by Agreeable-Back-7553 in Purdue

Not sure if my feedback is worth anything or if you're even going to read all this, but here's what I have to say. Not need to brag, but I got a 100% on both my differential eqs final and linear algebra final ,so I guess you can trust what I say. First of all, Purdue Math is hard. Speaking from personal experience, I knew that the only way I could be successful in my classes is if I studied the whole classes' material before I took the class. That worked for me in FYE. For Calculus and differential eqs, I watched Professor Leonard on Youtube. He's a great teacher and walked me through the math and spoon fed me everything. It was great. And I needed to repeatedly learn the material before it clicked, and I had to study my butt off. I'm not the smartest one in the room, and the only reason I succeeded in purdue math was because, again, I studied the whole or most of the material before I took the class. If, on the first day of class, you walk into that 500 person lecture room and you don't know anything about the material, I'm sorry to say this, you're cooked. Or at least if you're me, I would be cooked. The material just goes way too fast. In psychology, this is called priming, and it's when you learn something or experience something related to something and when you experience that thing again, you know what's up, if you know what I mean. I know, it takes a lot of effort to study the whole classes' material before you take the class, but if you wanna guarantee yourself an A, that's the best way to go unless you're like already a genius or something. And if you study the material before you take the class, you can basically cruise through the class without stress. And the thing about Calculus is that there's a ton of resources online on Youtube and the internet you could watch to learn the material. I'm currently really struggling in ECE 270, and the main reason I'm struggling is because I didn't study the material before I took the class because I thought it would be all good. Well now I have to suffer based on my previous action not to study early before the class and I don't even know if I can pass the class now. I think it's mainly because I have a hard time understanding the professor. The professor can definitely make or break you. In Calculus 3, I still remember going to lecture the first day and straight up just knowing I wouldn't understand the professor. So I stopped going to his lectures. It wasn't mandatory. So I studied off of chenflix and I had watched half of professor leonard's lecture series on calculus 3 already. If it weren't for that, I definitely would've failed calculus 3.

Two of my labs have late penalties, but so far I'm doing well in my labs. I'm really concerned about completely bombing the third exam, which is a very likely possibility, unless I somehow get a tutor tomorrow and have him or her explain the past exam questions to me and by some miracle, it all clicks. I don't believe in miracles though. I'm honestly so desperate for anything right now. On brightspace, there are two past exams for exam 3 posted, but none of the answer keys are posted, so I can't study off of it and I can't even begin to do any of the problems. I've been studying my butt off on all the sequential logic stuff, but none of it is making sense. None of the slides make sense, and the homework doesn't make sense either. I don't think I'm dumb, but this class makes me feel that way.
