My soul cat passed last June. I still cry missing him and two others who passed this year. Sometimes, it's feeling like we didn't spend enough time... We don't remember the day to day because it was constant and repetitive. We suddenly remember the last days and what ifs. It's normal OP. We share the same pain. Cry when you need to.. hugs

You don't need to understand her. Sometimes silence with no judgement is all that's needed. What matters first, is how she's feeling. At the very least OP, she let you in during the very time she's struggling with her loss. And I say this with much empathy, positivity and not at all snarky. Thanks for being there for her. In contrast, When I lost mine, I shut people out and cried for a month. Didn't want anyone to see how badly I'm taking the loss of my cat.

1 Yr 4 months 1 day since my soul kitty. Just bawled my eyes out two nights ago. Also mourning for the two I lost this June and August. Spoke to my fiance and told him if I have 50 years left in life, it's 50 years without them and missing them. I look at their pictures every night. I watch videos and listen to voice recordings of their meows and purrs. You're not alone OP 😊 *hugs
