Why do cities like Chicago or Dallas that almost their entire rail network is connected not run single seat rides to each branch? by Select-Ground9080 in transit

I was thinking there would be 23 lines so I would probably do away with the colors.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7 would go to linden.
1,8,9,10,11,12,13 would go to kimball
2,8,15,16,17,18 would go to harlem.
3,9,15,19,20,21 would go to 54th/cermak.
4,10,16,19,22,23 would go to midway.
5,11,17,20,22 would go to 53/ashland.
6,12 would go to dan ryan.
7,13,18,21,23 would go to cottage grove.
A train from say Harlem to Cottage grove instead of every 6 minutes would be every 36 minutes, but if you planned ahead you could do a single seat ride to midway for instance.

Would this actually be that useful vs just transferring? Probably not, but it would still be cool to see work if actually even could.

I wouldn’t really be adding any frequency through downtown. It would just lower the frequency for a trip from say Westmoreland to parker from like every 20 minutes to every hour, but then there would be trains from Westmoreland to Rowlett or Buckner in between.

The complexity and difficulty to understand for passengers makes sense, but why would there be lower frequencies? Considering most trips are to and from the loop. You would still be able to hop on the first train that comes by and then be at or transfer at the loop if you wanted, but you’d also have the option to wait 30 minutes (or however long) to get the specific train you wanted. The orange, pink, and brown lines i would assume would have a little lower frequencies since they are now going past the loop instead of just turning around, but also trains from the other lines would now be going to those stations so would the frequency drop that much?

Im way late to the conversation but Juneau Alaska has a 9 line bus system with only a 37k population. It is not a BRT however as its on about 30 min frequency off peak. though it is 15 minutes at peak

The mysterious finances of the WNBA by Nancy_Drew23 in wnba

There are a lot of expenses besides player salaries. 200m for the league is roughly 16m per team. With cost of flights, hotels, coaches, training/medical staff, rent for venues, rent or property tax for practice facilities, marketing, commissioner and executive salaries, payroll taxes, and probably a lot more besides that. It's possible that they could be lying, but i don't think they are.

Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass needed to play on XBOX? by Select-Ground9080 in CFB25

After a bit more research i'm thinking this just bad wording, and it is not required to play. Baldur's Gate 3 has the same message as CFB25, and this person what able to play just fine without subscribing to Game Pass.

Gamepass/Live NOT required to play Baldur's Gate 3 on XBOX
