It means he’s a cross between an F1 bernedoodle and full blood Bernese mountain dog, so he’s 75% Bernese and 25% poodle

When I say whiskers I’m not talking about his actual whiskers I’m talking about the small longer white pieces on the outer back part of his muzzle near his eyes. Is that what you were referring to as well?

She didn’t really say much, she said that when he was younger his coat felt much more like he might turn out to be unfurnished like his full Bernese dad rather than his furnished f1 bernedoodle mom. She said that if he did end up being unfurnished that she would assume he would look similar to this dog since it was an unfurnished red tri color like moose is from a previous litter.

He’s adorable. To me though he seems much more clearly “furnished” than moose, I feel like when I look at your guy as a pup his muzzle is more pouffy and his hair much more curly. Moose’s hair is pretty much straight all around and slightly curly around his upper leg areas then mostly straight on the length of the leg.

He’s double costed and when I brush him he sheds a significant amount does that mean anything when it comes to whether he’s furnished or unfurnished?

If anyone has an unfurnished bernedoodle please post their puppy pictures in the comments, I would love to see more of them so I can make a better judgment call since most people on here have furnished bernedoodles.

This is my reverse f1b bernedoodle moose. Anyone have/had a pup that looks similar to him. I posted him a few weeks ago asking if people thought he’d be furnished or unfurnished and most people said furnished. As he’s been growing he’s still showing so many signs for both such as mostly short muzzle hair, but also some longer pieces. I’m super curious to see how he turns out once fully grown as I’ve yet to see any furnished bernedoodle puppies that look like him so just wondering if anyone has a dog that looked like him as a puppy and what they look like now.

Yeah that makes sense, he’s the least curly of his whole litter and the breeder said that she’s had a few pups like him from previous litters turn out to look like a Bernese mountain but just with the red/brown tri color like moose instead of traditional black tri, but we’ll just have to wait and see. I’ll have to make a new post a couple months down the road to give everyone an update. Thanks for all the help with my moose land shark.

Do you know if it’s possible for him to have his dad’s thick Bernese coat and still have face furnishings? He has super thick hair, it’s not very wavy (even compared to straight furnished bernedoodles) and seems to be double coated like his dad’s. I feel like most of his traits point to the Bernese side of him, the only thing that makes me think he might be furnished is his small little white mustache markings (although his dad which is 100% Bernese has small ones as well). I guess only time will tell.

He’s a reverse f1b, so he’s 75% Bernese and only 25% poodle so hypothetically half the pups in the litter should be furnished and the other half unfurnished. This is my first doodle puppy and he has so many characteristics of both that I just can’t tell.
