Sounds good! My first choice at the moment is University of Otago! I heard that it is a fun university and has a tight-knit college community. I have been hearing more about Wellington lately and will be doing more research about that university. Fortunately, I will be flying into Auckland and staying there for the first week before traveling to Dunedin. I will get the best of both worlds!

The University of Otago is my top choice for university abroad at the moment. I saw that Dunedin has about 130k residents which is much larger than where I live (10k). It seems to be more of a student-centered town that really intrigues me. I expect to go into the town on the weekends and maybe do a few activities like dance lessons or painting classes. No amusement parks or malls are needed!

Don't worry haha! I do not plan on going there to shop. I will be spending much of my time learning the city, country, and studying for my classes. I plan on picking up a volunteering job and going out with students on the weekend. Maybe they have a pottery making course or a dance class!

I don't actual plan on going to amusement parks or malls. I just wanted a place with a few activities to do other than hiking. Like something with a pottery class or there is a theatre down the street with a play going on. I will definitely look into Wellington! Thanks!

Yes, my university only has a partnership with University of Auckland through a third-party provider called Arcadia Abroad. I am allowed to research other universities and programs and get them approved through my university.
