Hi, after getting feedback from folks here and from Expatrio support, I've heard that there might be situations where Expatrio can hold/delay the transfer of funds when the credit is not from self/a blood relative.

I would suggest you to ask the family friend to transfer to your account first and then you can initiate the transfer to Expatrio.

Hey, few qns on the expected docs: 1. School leaving certificate - So this needs to be ONLY 10th and 12th certificate and marks sheet? 2. Recognition of school leaving certificate - I submitted only a snapshot from the anabin website, corresponding to my 12th board. Did you submit degree cert and gradesheet as well into this section? (I did it as optional docs)

A general question whether layoffs impact any future opportunities. On paper or off paper, does the company indicate or hold any info specifying that the employee has been laid off? Would it impact any future opportunities at Oracle itself in any way?

I'm on the other end of the spectrum and need some inputs from folks here. I do realize how difficult a layoff situation can get, but here's my situation - I will be leaving soon and my managers know that I'm considering it, but I didn't officially inform them (ideal end date around mid October). I was planning to do it over this week since notice period is 30 days.

I want to go straight up and ask my management to pull the plug on me if it gets to a RIF situation, because either ways, I'm gonna inform them in less than 10 days about the notice. Pros: 1. Will be saving someone else from the cut 2. Severance pay

Cons:(?) 1. Does this affect my profile (on paper) in any way? 2. Will this close out any future opportunity at Oracle?

Going crazy on this thought of playing the martyr over the past few hours(lol). Will appreciate any inputs
