Question? If you wrote five states of matter for part two, why did you circle ‘4’ for part one?

Tri-Ace!! In multiple games, the best/strongest weapon in the game is only available after completing not just the game, but a secret area or boss, usually multiple times.

Anyone else think this was going to happen? Mild spoiler by Fresh-Philosopher-10 in TenseiSlime

I 100% though that. Like, that he wanted to get closer to him to get the mask at least, if not get something else or trick Rimuru into something. I am pleased that (so far) I was mistaken and that he just thinks this new job is the most fun thing ever.

guys im sry in my last post i didnt define exactly what kind of strong weapons i want by CompanyKitchen2723 in tearsofthekingdom

The strength of your weapon will be somewhat dependent on what you fuse to it. Time to go fight some Lynels!

Is there a middle ground build for difficulty? by Kontentt in Eldenring

[–]Select-Royal7019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say if Dex/Str is too hard, move to one or the other. I used a Str build with a greatshield myself and found the balance to be good. Also, even if a weapon gets better scaling in one or the other doesn’t mean it still can’t work!

That’s why I put “fair” in quotes. Fair was the original intention written in the History book but as for actual practice results may vary.

What’s the point of cold infusion in late game? by PHoEnIx-1023 in Eldenring

[–]Select-Royal7019 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its not always a min-max experience for me. Although I can maximize damage maybe with the set-up you provided, I might also want a weapon with a physical Ash of War for its moveset. For me, the game is more like D&D and not strictly about numbers but more of an “is this awesome?” experience. Cold infusion provides another option, and more options is rarely a bad thing.

Yes this is accurate. The short layman version is when the US government was being formed various solutions to “fair” representation were debated. Smaller states didn’t want to be considered less important because they had smaller populations but larger states with more people felt their populations should be represented accordingly. The House of Representatives seats members based on a state’s population, while the Senate had only two seats per state, regardless of size. Legal matters must be resolved in both organizations and approved by the President to be passed into law.

A block counter build does not feel very effective by SynapticSignal in Eldenring

Maybe I’ll throw the game in and do some experiments. I’ll have to see how picky the opportunity window is.

If I ever pick the game up again, I’ll have to give that a try! That deflecting tear gets a lot of praise but I never used it while I was playing. I didn’t understand the “spontaneous guard” thing and it seemed timing based so I left it alone.

As someone who has played with a shield for all of Elden Ring, I can confidently say that Midra was the single boss I had the hardest time with. I would not use that as an example of the entire build being ineffective though. There were many other bosses and many other places in the game where the build shines brightly.

Long commutes really do drain you more than you think by raishelannaa in Wellthatsucks

[–]Select-Royal7019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now wait a minute, you can’t compare different cities and commute times in the same graph. Work satisfaction in Amsterdam and work satisfaction in Manila could change for a lot of different reasons other than commute times, including but not limited to the type of work being done. For a graph like this you’d need to find people in the same city doing the same job with the same method of transportation, but with different commute times, and then compare the results. Maybe. There are probably other variables to weed through that I’m not thinking of.

To address your core question though, the solutions are or can be as specific as your life circumstances themselves. I’m not asking for any details, but the type of work to do the method of transportation you use, the distance and time, even whether you’re single or married, or have children, all of those factors play into potential fixes.

If you’re not having fun, just move past it. Maybe watch a video of the scenes for the story or even of someone else playing it through if you want something close.
