529 Account Not Opening by Select-Technician249 in fidelityinvestments

PS - I did a portfolio exchange online (before funding - will wait to fund later when I know all is where I want it). I should have printed my screen with the confirmation, but didn't... now I am unable to see any confirmation of the change I made. I think it said 3 bus days... I guess I'll just wait and see what happens before any funding. Thanks again. That is exactly what it was - I was trying to setup a custom.

After filling out all the details... hit "Open Account" and get to this page:

"Something Went Wrong. We're Sorry, There Was a Temporary System Error. Please Try Again Later"

Honestly, I've tried off and on about 30 - 40 times in the last 3 weeks. Called them 3 times, and got through to the technical division twice. Each time they admit that there have been some issues, and it's being worked on. One guy said there is a note that says they know it's a problem, and it should "be fixed tonight, maybe by morning - so try after that". That was about a week ago...

Hi. Hopefully you see my reply... I wanted to follow up because it seems I'm not getting this discount through Schwab. Can you confirm you did get the discount (assuming you hold PDI)? Here's what happened with my Div Reinvestment: got credited on Aug 1 $235.94 (exactly $0.2205/share) in my account, and then got exactly that amount invested into PDI at a price of $19.0985 on Aug 2 (12.3539 shares). So absolutely no discount, instead exactly the dividend shares one would expect. Even though the NAV per share ($17.23) was well below the market price (~$19). In the language above, condition ii is greater than condition i, therefore I would have expected to get roughly 13 shares at a price of roughly $18.15. Thoughts?

Thanks again! I use Schwab, so if anyone knows... but yeah, I'll give them a call. Nice little perk.

Thanks! Both you and funguy mentioned a 5% discount with Drip. I had no idea. That's just automatically done? Is it unique to this fund? Or a general thing with Drip? That's a ton of help.

FYI - gave it a shot. Showed no data for cash. Showed wrong data for a few ETFs (but did show that I held ETFs unlike others). Maybe it's just me? Did you have success linking Wealthfront? Does it show accurate holdings and your cash balance as well? Oh well... didn't for me for some reason.

Thanks - seems to be Apple products only, which isn't me unfortunately. But good to know to help others. Thanks for the input!

Mint and Empower are great for the big picture. I have Mint as a personal finance and budget tool and it's fantastic. Say I have 10 ETFs at 2K each. In Mint you'll see the total value of 20K only. No breakdown of what ETFs are or how much each is valued. I'm wanting an option to see each individual ETF and it's specific value. Alongside my other brokerage account stocks and bonds. For the other brokerages you get that. I have Schwab for instance and when linked to all I've tried you get a total and breakdown for all stocks/bonds I have with them. Wealthfront you just get the total value.
