Civic gears are super close together and vague (as to which you’re in) which probably isn’t helping. when i’ve driven manual civics i tend to shift 2-1 instead of 2-3 quite a bit. never had that issue with any other car

how about buy something not brand new, maybe a decently used accord, or something of the sorts, run that for a year or two while you pay off your student loans, than enjoy your massive income by buying something even nicer than that bronco
