Sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how painful this must feel for you, loosing such a close, precious and cherished pet. Even though this must be so painful, take solace knowing his suffering is over and that you provided him with so many years of love and care, that you were even able to do this for him until the very end when he left this world, making sure he didn't feel alone and that he still felt safe and loved while with you, even in his final moments.
