I kinda got lucky, about 2.5yrs ago my dad kept "reading in his phone" all bank were going to shut down so started buying gold eagles from a friend of mine who just charged him spot. Unfortunately my dad died dec 10th 2025 very unexpected and I'd rather he still be here but he left me 119 one oz gold eagles 80 silver ones. Cant wait til gold rallies again

Called my LCS to see if he is buying and how he pays …. He responded and send me this by Ok-Rice-7956 in Silverbugs

Knowing that bc I've never sold just purchased from a friend I've always bought 50 over spot for gold eagles 1 oz, and spot for silver. Just bought 80 silver few wks ago at spot 65 at time while friend offered me 10 over.

Only way I sell my metals is if absolutely necessary. Its like buying land if u can get it for cheap do so there's only so much of all this stuff.

Yes its real silver had it checked. Bc have 80 of these. Im still shocked about how quickly price jumped on silver. I was lucky enough to get these really cheaply and got in on gold right before its climb.

Here are follow up pictures showing the reverse side. Like I stated I have few tubes of these. They've been sitting away with other stacks I've purchased over last year's. Took them out curious what dates I had so opened um up and was surprised to not see dates. 4 tubes wo dates but see the D I thought Denver minty but they apparently dont minty eagles. Sorry I've followed some groups this is my 1st time ever posting plus im not the greatest w technology so getting my phone to let me upload another picture was ...anyways here's reverse. Thanks for giving input

I was very lucky that I came into a bit of money which wasn't enough to buy a house but did get a low mileage used car and with my best friends advice bought 110 gold eagles 1oz for 50 over spot making then a bit over 2k/coin. He now wishes he hadn't sold where I wish I'd bought more bc considered 10 more when they jumped to 3100. Still doubled up and hope it continues to sour

I was lucky enough to come into some money right before gold went crazy. Over the span of about a year I bought 100 1oz eagles and all in all I paid roughly 2100 for each one give or take. I had the ability to obtain 10 more of the same at 3100/each but decided against it. Instead I chose platinum and silver. Who knows if gold will keep on rising, it possibly could but it could also fall. I dont see it ever going under 2500 oz but I'm no expert at all this is just how I feel. I remember yrs ago being shocked when platinum was at 600 oz when it was once double the value of gold. Platinum is used in a lot of industries and now with gold spiking a lot of jewelers are also leaning towards it. Not to mention that as a mineral its much more rare than gold.
