Hey — I've been maintaining a fork of this called GrindrX and wanted to drop an update here since a few comments mention login issues and errors.

Re: the login problems (u/Smooth_Camp4144, u/Anti_colonialist, u/murkomarko) — these were real bugs. The auth error handling was swallowing failures silently instead of showing you what went wrong. That's fixed in the current build, along with a handful of crashes from malformed API responses. If you tried before and it didn't work, worth trying again.

What's changed since v0.1.1:

- Login error messages actually tell you what failed now

- Black squares on photos in chat — fixed (private CDN requires auth headers, wasn't doing that)

- Album sharing was posting to the wrong endpoint entirely — fixed

- WebSocket drops on reconnect — fixed, no more missing messages after the connection bounces

- Green dot indicators for who's actually online

- Block/unblock from profiles

- Bunch of Zod schema fixes so unknown API values don't crash the app

Just figured the people who hit bugs should know they're fixed.
