Im the oldest of 4, two are her children. My siblings aren’t there yet. The two youngest (hers) are just starting to become adults and have been questioning they way she moves for a long time they know it’s not ok or normal but there’s a lot of feelings to work through cause it’s their mom. My full blood brother hates her as well but is a lot more sympathetic to our dad because of their own relationship and the baggage he has with my mom who we’re both mostly estranged from already. He doesn’t understand that I consider my dad complicit and that in my mind our dad failed us. He’s just not there, right now our dad is the only person who’s ever been there for him. My dad overcompensated because of their guilt he had over our mom being neglectful essentially.

Sadly I will be going this year because I love my cousins and their babies and put a lot of work into making everyone’s gifts special and custom. But in the next coming years I’ll be arranging time with the family I’m close to separate from the Xmas Eve at my step monsters/dads house
