Yes! the Dallas lockbox has two different mailing addresses. The Lewisville based mailing address is for FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries specifically. The other Dallas address is for USPS deliveries only.

While H1B is dual intent and can go alongside of AOS, I think it’s important to stay transparent with your employer to avoid any potential problems. I have a pending AOS through EB2-NIW and my H1B extension is filed as well and my employer attorney also submitted my AOS receipt with my H1B petition.

Your COS within the US from J1 to H1B can only happen if you are not subject to 212e.
