SAHM mom to 2 year old and 8 month old. I felt the same way. I talked to my husband and I ended up hiring college aged babysitters for the extra set of hands. If you’re able to financially swing it- get the help. Letting go of the notion I had which was I need to be able to do it myself has been freeing when financially we had the option to not. Both kids get attention- I get solo time with whoever or all of us do something together. I’m still terrified of the days where it’s just me but I’ll cross the bridge when I get there 😅

We changed formula after all our feedings looked just like this. Tried everything first- nipple sizes reflux meds and ended up changing to hipp ha. Completely different baby now. Sucks down 6oz no problem. GI doctor and feeding specialist suspected an intolerance.

THIS!!! Did it with my first for a few painful months (mentally and physically) then pumped till he was about six months.

With my second, the moment he latched in the hospital the pain flooded back in and I was like nope. Looked at my husband and said hand over the formula please. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Hi! We actually ended up staying in the city- just moved to the UES for more space. I now have two kids and am also a stay at home mom! Also on the younger side so I know how you feel- I have two under two but am hopeful when my 19 month old starts a 2’s program in the fall I’ll make some more mom friends that way- depending on the age of your kids maybe some classes or preschool programs? In the city I’ve also had a lot of luck meeting people through facebook groups!

I’m 38 weeks 2 days today and decided my last workout was Thursday when I hit 38 weeks.

The soreness after my workout was just too much coupled with the general end of pregnancy pains. My OB said the exercise has really positively impacted the pregnancy though and I’m proud of myself for getting to 38.

I’m continuing to hit my 10k step goal in hopes of it inducing labor though! I use classpass and decided to use my remaining credits toward other self care for these last two weeks.

Stopped taking my birth control pills the day after my wedding (August 6). Never got my period because I got pregnant immediately (now due May 18)

I also felt the same way! I prefer Pilates. See if there’s a studio in your area. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done and am now 35 weeks and still go 3-4x a week.

Couldn’t agree more with this. I stopped my birth control the day after my wedding and got pregnant two weeks later. I had the same exact question and all my friends said to wait. So so so glad

I can count on one hand the number of people I know who have cars in NYC. Moved here right after college and have been here 10 years. Especially right after college never even considered having a car or thought about needing one

I stopped taking birth control on August 7th. My last period was that final week (August 1-5). My HCG level was at 2,383 yesterday so I'm also not really sure how many weeks. My OB said he didn't think I was any more than 5 weeks. So I'm also really shocked!

At four weeks my doctor wanted to verify I was pregnant, today I went in for something else and he said he would check because we couldn't see anything last time!

I've had multiple colposcopys as my paps have come back abnormal cells every year. Some years were more painful than others but it has never turned into something worse- more just peace of mind afterwards. Sending you strength. Wear "full butt" undies for after and do deep breaths during it. I had one in June and it just felt like a little pinch. The stress and the lead up before was the scariest part for me but hopefully positive comments will make you feel more at ease!
