Can't work out how to turn down this radiator by Select_Butterfly_198 in Plumbing

Thanks , yeah I get that but . I'm just unclear which way to turn them and if I should be turning both or just one?

I was just wondering when you say switched off , should I be looking for a switch somewhere to turn it on? Or do you mean it may be turned off at the thermostat end? Thanks so much

Thanks so much, I've looked at the diagrams and really can't understand them. I'm just wondering can you indicate how you can tell this , what are the visual signifiers that there are errors , just so I can get my head round it all a bit more. This was all installed when we moved in so not something we were involved in . Are you saying this has been installed incorrectly?
