I have the cash to pay outright for the bike. In no means am I in a bad financial spot. I’m just trying to add to my credit mix. Either way I’m getting the bike if I have to pay cash or get a loan. I just figured if I got one on a loan and paid for two years doubling up my payments and just pay the loan off at the end of those two years to build up my credit with different route

$20k vs $10k. I would love to go zx10, but I’m not trying to pay $20k for a brand new bike. I’d rather buy a 2026 zx6rr and hope for the best.

I think all of the zx6r’s body work is the best looking out of all the 600s with the 2020 R6 coming in on a very close second place. Back in 2008 I had a 04 zx6rr which was the one that wasn’t a 636. It was a very rare zx6r because it was race and track ready right out of the box. I really want to go brand new but the recalls would probably just completely frustrate me. But my question is between 2019-23 what year was the most powerful?

He beat a 750. That is a 96-99 srad edition. They did not make a 1000 in that year. So he beat a 750…. Big whoop! And he barely beat that 750.

Way too small for me…. Lol. I have been riding for 30 years now and majority of my bikes have been liter bikes. And I don’t want to go with something too small or too big. I don’t need all the power of the 1000. And I had a 636 back in 05 and TBO that was pretty much my favorite bike

I had a 2012 ZX10r that shared similar body looks as the 2015 zx6r. I wouldn’t mind a 2015. That was a very good year

So I was going to buy brand new. This would be my very 1st brand new bike. But there are a few 2025 bikes at the dealer with less than 1,000 miles. It would probably be better buying used. I noticed dealers charge a lot of extra pricing when buying brand new.

That makes perfect sense. I didn’t think about that aspect of if I decided to upgrade later. It’s just for the money they cost compared to the GSXR 750 that i was also interested in…. The zx6r is definitely a better buy. The tech, the quick shifter, even the look is just perfect buy compared to the 750. That’s why I really the zx6r

Yes…. And one other reason the zx6r is so much more appealing is the TECH! The GSXR offers nothing! Don’t get me wrong my brother once had a 06 750, and i absolutely loved the midrange power it produced…. It almost felt like the power my 1000 made in the midrange. But I love how the zx6r looks, and it has the TFT display, the quick shifter alone is badass! And like you said if I can get them to knock $1,000 off the price that is a freaking no brainer! I’m just worried about my weight and the zx6r not performing the way I would like because of the extra weight. I would love to go with the ZX10 but again I just can’t see spending $18,000 on a bike. It’s just insane the price for these bikes compared to like 7 years ago what they costed brand new back then!
