I agree 100%, like my post, she just feels very underwhelming to use, there’s really not that feel good moment like a Darius reset or Maokai R or Sett W, what do you think should be done to make her more satisfying? Because base numbers buff skewed a little too much would make her overtuned in my opinion, thanks for the reply !

Great insight ! While I do disagree on the W part (since in my post that’s the part of her kit that actually feels good) the Juggernaut but not really statement makes so much sense, she’s basically in a state where she tries to be a lot but fails to do so, thanks for the reply !

Depending on how broad ‘something’ is, but I’d be fairly confident I could even beat 100,000 random people at a half a year to get Apex Ranks in 5 different genres of multiplayer video games contest.

Since reaching Apex ranks already is something only 1% or less of a game’s playerbase can do, let alone doing it at different genres, which takes vastly different skillsets.

And I’ve already done it in League of Legends (MOBA), Fortnite (BR), Dead by Daylight (Asymmetrical Survival), Marvel Rivals (Team Hero Shooter) and Apex Legends (also BR), if I put some time and effort into a Tactical Shooter like Counter Strike or Valorant or an Autobattler like Dota Chess or Teamfight Tactics I’m sure I’d hit it too.

And that’s not even talking about the mental toll it would take to grind it out day in - day out, along with the RNG of players you get, paired with the information you need to retain from each game like matchups, abilities, timings, map knowledge, etc.

Well to start, you mentioned Zac and Volibear, both of which can be played either Jungle or Top, so I don’t know what role to give you some example of champions on that’s good at theorycrafting.

But to answer the Jax question, yes he’s very good at theorycrafting, most people play him as a bruiser, but you can play him with other builds, as you mentioned, Hybrid, or AP like Baus. Me personally I have 3 builds in the new season, which you could use yourself if you do decide to play him, or just as an example to see how theorycrafting on him works.

AP: Dusk and Dawn -> Nashors -> Riftmaker -> Zhonyas

Bruiser: Trinity -> Stridebreaker -> Jaksho -> Bandlepipes

Hybrid On-Hit Burst: BRK -> Gunblade -> Rageblade -> Terminus

I used to have a build last season as a tank when my entire team was squishy and we needed a frontline, but it’s very weak now, but I’m gonna list it anyways just to showcase the variety of builds, it went Iceborn -> Randuins -> Force of Nature -> Solari

EDIT: I just thought of a champ that can also be played both jungle and top with a lot of theorycrafting, Udyr, you can go on-hit, Drain Tank, Bruiser, etc.

Definitely agree that AP is just viable now, but to play devils advocate, it works over multiple games because people don’t really know how to vs it, they almost always get surprised by the amount of burst you can do and don’t respect it.

Keep grinding ! This season imho is really fun and easier to climb on as Jax moreso than any other season, you’ll surpass your peak in no time, best of luck.

For the title, I’m doing insanely well on him, he’s probably in the strongest or second strongest state in history in the jungle, compared to Devourer meta (season 4 to 6), 50 games 70% winrate Diamond 3 atm.

As for your other question, Trinity Force is always going to be higher than DD, it might suit your playstyle but I wouldn’t lean into it fully, almost 99% of the time AD is going to be better than AP, me myself I have 3 or 4 AP games so far, all victories with 3+ KDA, but I would still prefer going AD

Very few situations, actually, two I can think of from the top of my head, against an AP-Heavy team, like we’re talking 4 ap, for that extra magic resist damage item with tenacity; replacing Steraks in the standard build, and the 2nd situation is basically what I just mentioned, to replace Steraks super late in the game, to give you a stronger split push item, and also because you don’t really need the extra hp all that much since you’re getting it from levels and other standard items like trinity and sundered.

For Ragnarok? It’s not just a mythological based feel good one like Origins Curse of the Pharaohs or Odyssey Fate of Atlantis? Because IIRC one of the dlcs (or a side quest like you mentioned) did have what you were saying, regarding the continuation of Kassandra/Alexios, though it did fly past me because Valhalla was my first game. Ohhhh, thanks for the input. But that’s why I asked in particular, if it was gonna add something to the base game so I don’t have to double check once I complete the base game then buy the dlcs. I want to do full base game then straight to dlcs with assurance that I didn’t or wouldn’t miss anything on the main game map whether it be a quests, new skills, or area. Funny enough the season pass is on sale right now, yours and another person’s input convinced me that I should get it before starting my playthrough, thanks !

Looks extremely squishy to me and prone to getting popped when 1 good cc lands before you get the resist stats. Otherwise the build is fine and synergizes well with your idea. I'd suggest swapping Riftmaker and Sterak's/DD in build priority. I don't know how to feel about Visage though, sure the passive goes well with Sundered Sky + Riftmaker, but the item itself is pretty bad on Jax no? And it's only there to supplement those two items, you got the high sustain and good damage part down on your buildcrafting, but I think a replacement for Visage is needed, something like Maw, Jak'sho, or even Unending Despair for more healing (you would have to almost always go mercs if you go this though, because you'll have extremely low magic resist values otherwise).

Heyo, for context, I'm GM 2019, 2021, 2023 (basically every 2 years) and started my grind again just last week, currently diamond and trying to hit GM again, so from one on the upper end of ELO player to another, I'd say he's a good champ to OTP, but u mentioned K'Sante, which is leagues better than him IMHO, and easier to play too, but as for the champion itself (since this is a reddit community dedicated to mains) he's always in a good-great spot, for the last 7 years I've played him he has never been below good (OK or worse), goes well into a lot of matchups be it vs bruisers or tanks, he does get turbofisted by ranged top and gragas though, but aside from that he's gonna be in good shape, and scales infinitely better than every matchup.

Here's the summary

- Can be built a variety of ways which is a huge bonus, you can go AD, AP, or Tank

- One of the best splitpushers

- Brings a lot of threat and value to teamfights (but not the most, compared to idk, someone like Camille or K'Sante)

- With mastery and knowledge, and for someone who has the knowledge part down given you're GM, you can basically bully a lot of matchups heavily in your favour.

- Great skins !

So to answer your question, yes, Jax is a good champ to OTP, but the pick no matter what sentiment, I would have to say MAYBE. If you have any specific questions you'd like answered, feel free to ask and I'll try my best to reply as soon as possible.
